The Boardwalk Goes Pink

Each night throughout October, The Boardwalk at Towne Lake will be aglow in pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sponsored by Houston Methodist, our hope is The Boardwalk serves as a beacon of community inspiration while calling attention to the importance of the early detection of breast cancer. We're honored to have Houston Methodist sponsor this event for the fourth year in a row.
Business specials throughout the month of October:
Club Pilates:
- Fall Fit Fest 9/30. All proceeds benefit MD Anderson Cancer Research.
Kendra Scott:
- Breast Cancer Awareness Collection launches 10/1. 20% of purchases will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
- The Rose BCA Give Back 10/6 6 to 8 p.m. The Rose provides breast health services such as mammograms, diagnostics and access to treatment to all women, regardless of their ability to pay.
- Pink Lemonade Stand Challenge Give Back 10/8 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mention the challenge at checkout, and 20% of all purchases will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
- Holley Day Give Back 10/13. 20% of all purchases is donated to the Inheritance of Hope Foundation.
Kilwins:
- Changing uniform shirts to pink in solidarity for BCA month.
- A portion of the proceeds from the pink sprinkle cookies, pretzel rods and marshmallows will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Fund.
Nekter:
- $2 off the Pink Flamingo Smoothie for the entire month of October.
Sam's Boat:
- Wear a pink shirt, and receive a free cup of queso for the month of October. (Limited to one free cup per table).
- $1 off of Western Son strawberry cocktails and pink tea shots for the month of October.
The Union Kitchen:
- Try their limited time pink beignets for the month of October.
World of Beer:
- Partnering with Delirium Brewing with their Delirium Deliria beer. A portion of proceeds is donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
- Mixed Draught "Pink Elephant" available for the entire month of October.
